Once this is done, we planted the two new replacement plants. For this particular project, the client picked Cordyline Australis, and bald cypress, arranged in a chessboard pattern.
We aim for a garden improvement and polished look, so we laid fresh soil with layer of small decorative garden pebbles and stones, covering the bland dark shades of the soil. This way the garden gained a more finished aesthetic look.
The stone layer is a good solution for this project, not only because it significantly relieves garden maintenance. Growing healthy grass or other leafy greenery is highly dependent on the conditions – available sunlight, space and location, to name a few.
