Today the team at Green At Home went all out on an amazing front garden gravelling project in Bow E3 East London.
It looks really nice when everything in front of the front door looks clean and tidy.
Gravel is one of the most affordable materials used to shape outdoor areas, such as gardens and yards. In this way stubborn weeds are avoided and the flowers are kept in excellent shape. Unfortunately, it often happens that it even looks messy and disorganized.
Our aim is to restore the look and feel of a front garden. To cover with new material and build it in a way that creates long lasting durability and stability.
The first step we did was to cut and clear everything unnecessary from the front garden. We pulled out roots of old plants and weeds and freshened up by cutting the beds around the fence
The second step is removing the old stones and leveling the ground perfectly.
The third step is laying a special membrane with which you will keep the weeds away. Through the membrane, the ground is level and thus the gravel on it look orderly and
The fourth step is the laying of the new gravel and its good distribution on the membrane. The tool we used is the rake to spread the gravel evenly and ensure the surface is level and smooth.
We also did a jet wash with which we refreshed the passageway.
