In this project, our task was to put new grass in the backyard garden and build a small stone area and path. A perfect finishing touch would be to place a garden set on top of the constructed patio area. An ideal solution for anyone who likes to spend time outside, for afternoon tea or a meeting with friends.

This project is relatively easy to do and can be completed in a few days, depending on the size of the job. Here's how we set out step by step with the GREEN AT HOME team to completely transform our Leytonstone client's garden.

1.First we started by cleaning the garden

We removed all existing grass, rocks, weeds and debris and topsoil from the area.

Mass cleaning of a garden is not an easy task. We used good technique and excellent teamwork to be able to clean and prepare the treated land for the next steps

2.We created a gravels area

We used gravel to create a large square and measured the area to be covered by the stones. We dug the trench and used a special membrane to create the base before placing the stones.

We installed the path in the same way. Accurate measuring, leveling and placement of the stones.

3.Laying turf

Before we can lay a sod of new grass, we have leveled the ground perfectly.

With all the necessary tools and a good professional team, we are ready to start a grass lane.

We arrange the grass row by row, in an even layer and make sure it is firmly stuck to the ground before we water it.
